Nose Surgery - Rhinoplasty
Nose surgery, so-called rhinoplasty is the most demanding treatment of plastic surgery. Nose is the most dominant in a face, its natural shape cannot be influenced by anybody of us. Shape deviations of nose can be congenital or acquired as a consequence of an injury. Cosmetic surgery can change not only the shape of nose but also solve problems with breathing, on which it participates. In these cases rhinoplasty is not only aesthetic problem, but also functional.
There are three methods of nose surgery

How is rhinoplasty performed?
The nose surgery is performed through incisions in nostrils, so that the scars are invisible after the healing process. The procedure is performed under slight general anaesthesia, recommended hospitalization is 1-2 days. The nasal tamponade is put for 1-3 days and the nose is covered with plaster split for usually 14 days. Pressure massages are then recommended.
