How is the lip surgery performed?

Enlargement of narrow lip can be achieved through implantation of own tissue (mostly fatty tissue) or artificial material or through surgical method using surrounding tissue.

In case of surgical method we make few cuts in the area of inner side of lip, so the final scars after the surgery are not visible. By release, lifting and suturing of the tissue on the inner side of lip we reach its enlargement.

The procedure is performed under local or slight general anaesthesia, the sutures are removed in 10 to 12 days after the surgery.
