Augmentation means breast enlargement with implants. Breasts are an important part of woman´s body. Every woman can improve her self-confidence thanks to augmentation, even if it would be concerned only on a deatil, as daily problem with dressing and correction of acceptable decolletage. An easy way, how to get fuller breasts is breast plastic surgery (augmentation – breast enlargement).
You should choose your implant very carefully and ask your surgeon for an advice. It is necessary to take the general structure of your body and your skin elasticity into account.
Implants types
- round: these are inserted under the gland and also under the muscle
- anatomical (teardrop shaped): these are inserted partial under the muscle or under the gland
- asymetrical: for each breast is another implant „right and left“.
They are inserted under the mammary gland.
Breast Implants Sizes
Sizes of breast implants are given in mililitres. The choice of the size of implants depends on general structure, height,chest width, skin quality and also patient´s wish. The most often used sizes are 200-300 ml (breast implants are produced in sizes from 100 ml to 1000 ml).
Price for breast implants
Prices for breast implants range approximately from 18 to 60 000 CZK, it depends on type and producer.
- round implants: 18 000,- až 28 000,- CZK.
- anatomical (teardrop shaped) implants: 40 000,- to 60 000,- CZK
The price does not depend on size.
Where are the implants placed?
- under the mammary gland
- under the breast muscle
The possible future breast feeding is not endangered.
How is breast enlargement – augmentation performed?
The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia with one-day-hospitalization. The implant is inserted into the breast via three approaches (according to patient's wish depending on consultation with the surgeon):
- through an incision around the areola on the border of light and pigmented skin
- through an incision in the inframammary fold
- through an incision in the armpit
The patient wears special bra for 6 weeks after the surgery, which helps to shape the breasts. One week after the surgery it is possible to do a sedentary job, full physical strain is possible after a month.
The used implants are many years tested and approved in studies. No increased risk of tumorous or other disease associated with the implants has been proved.
