MicroDERM is a unique computer system, which can differentiate innocuous freckles from malign skin tumor, melanom. This system detects only minimal changes of followed marks.

How important is MicroDERM?

According to world statistics there is more than a half of new cancerous diseases concerning skin. For successful treatment of malign tumors of the skin it is completely necessary to treat these diseases at time. New unique computer system microDERM was created thanks to a study sponsored by European Union. There were fourteen top European dermal clinics working on this study.

Examination of marks through MicroDERM

The examination through system MicroDERM takes approximately 10-15 minutes. This examination is completely painless, it is made a recording of the mark through special microcamera. Treated birthmarks are compared through artificial neuronic network with a database of 21000 clinically concluded cases and provides this way unique support for the diagnosis.

Following of development of the finding

Completely without competition is this system because of the possibility to safely and effectively follow the development of so-called "borderline findings". All new recordings of examined person are automatically compared with the past recordings and their development and risk is evaluated.
